Social Lead
Heyday is hiring a full-time Social Lead to tell our story, cook up incredible vibes, and nurture our passionate community of bean fans, soup heads, and home cooks.
We are searching for a special somebody who really gets the Heyday brand and has a unique perspective on how to bring it to life in a way that will shine on social. You’ll be the host/hostess with the most/mostess, welcoming Heyday fans to take a seat at our virtual dinner party. You’ll brainstorm creative (and occasionally unhinged) ideas, shoot and edit videos, manage a content calendar, coordinate creator collabs, and track performance.
What you'll do:
- Own our Instagram and TikTok accounts. Make them feel vibrant, welcoming, and joyful!
- Review existing content strategy and sharpen it with your POV on how Heyday can best show up on social
- Create the majority of our content: Concepting, shooting, and editing
- Manage the content calendar, write captions, schedule posts
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales on key moments like retail launches and new products
- Dream up fun social moments: merch drops, brand collabs, giveaways
- Manage paid partnerships with microinfluencers from contract to content delivery
- Help shape bigger brand moments like pop-ups, being an expert voice on what will resonate with audiences on social
- Track performance and refine our approach based on what's working
What we're looking for:
- Creativity!!! Above all else, we are looking for a creative who resonates with the Heyday brand and has a zillion ideas of how to make it come alive on social. We are looking for someone with a unique perspective on how to build a universe through consistent visuals, tone, voice, and POV.
- Deep understanding of what works on social and how to optimize for each platform
- Track record of making engaging content (and the metrics to prove it)
- Love of cooking and ability to shoot delicious-looking food content
- Friendly, warm vibes. You genuinely enjoy engaging with people online
- Organized, professional, and communicative.
Structure & Compensation:
- Fully remote
- Occasional travel for team meet-ups (we all went to Maine last year!), photoshoots, brand events, etc.
- You will be the 3rd member of the marketing team made up currently of Co-Founder Kat and Brand Marketing Director Michelle. You’ll report directly to Kat.
